How to apply and become a Gothic BA Records artist:

The label is looking for bands or solo artists wanting to release exclusive productions. Releasing exclusive material on the label’s website and its related pages ensures a large promotion of the record through a great variety of communication channels on the web and press . Also if you´re searching an easy way to release free productions online, Gothic BA Records could be the right place for you. The record may or not have a physical counterpart, a CD or other format, sold out or not, and may have been previously released before. That´s OK for us!

Read carefully before sending your request:

Outside the fact that the genre (dark music in it´s various styles) and quality of the music sent have to correspond to the absolutely non-objective tastes of the label’s owner, a few criteria are mandatory to apply. These parameters come under a global idea: the net label promotes only well packaged “records”. This means the record must be a consistent demo, EP or album.

The consistency of the record is very important, as well as the artwork, which is also a mandatory point.

You don´t have to send a physical version of the record.

• Link to the demo archive file containing the songs in mp3 format, with a minimum quality of 192Kbps. The MP3 files must have their information tags filed in (song position, title, album name and band name at least)
• Artwork, in jpeg format, with a minimum size of 400×400 pixels
• A little description of the band (members, style, etc)
• Website URL if available
• Myspace URL if available

El sello está buscando bandas o artistas solistas que quieran lanzar producciones exclusivas. El album puede o no tener una contraparte física, por ejemplo un CD, agotado o no, y quizás haber sido lanzado previamente por otro canal. Esto no es un problema.

Requisitos antes de enviar tu solicitud:

Aparte de tener en cuenta que la calidad y género de los trabajos elegidos quedan al total criterio del dueño de este sello, algunos criterios son mandatarios para aplicar. Estos parámetros se basan en la idea de que el sello solo promocionará trabajos “bien empaquetados”, es decir, debe ser un demo, un EP o un album.

La consistencia del trabajo es muy importante, como también el arte de tapa, que es de inclusión obligatoria.

No es necesario enviar el material en formato físico.

• Link a la carpeta de archivos con el demo conteniendo las canciones en formato MP3, con una calidad mínima de 192Kps. Los archivos MP3 deben tener información completa(número de canción, título, album y nombre de la banda o artista solista)
• Arte de tapa (y contratapa si es posible) con una medida mínima de 400x 400 pixeles.
• Una breve descripción de la banda (miembros, estilo, etc.)
• Sitio de internet de la banda (de existir)
• Myspace de la banda (de existir)
